Jeff is a Baby Boomer, who in his callow youth thought that turning 60 meant you were getting too old for new adventures. Instead, Jeff has discovered that 60 is just the initial gateway to realizing who you are.

Jeff’s mentors have been the residents of the Blue Zones: individuals who live active and productive lives well into their eighties and ninties - and beyond. The secrets of the Blues Zones can be synthesized into what Jeff calls the “6R's”. Integrating the 6R's has transformed Jeff’s life – and they can transform yours also.

Antonia finished her yoga teacher training the year she turned 50 - 2017. Yoga - on and off the mat - gives her amazing tools.

    Jeff:

    For 30 years, Jeff Hughes was a Washington DC lawyer and consultant who lived on long hours, little sleep, and a lot of junk food. Jeff’s blood pressure was so high that he was on two medications, which barely kept it under control. He took over-the-counter medications just about every day for headaches, upset stomach, congestion, and sleeping issues. Jeff also was 60 pounds overweight and no matter what popular diet he tried, he couldn’t get rid of the extra pounds.

    Fifteen years ago, when he turned 50, Jeff slowly made some major changes. He replaced the fast food with whole foods. He exercised more and began a daily meditation practice. The result? Jeff no longer needed the pharmaceuticals and the daily intake of over-the-counter medications. He lost the excess fat and replaced it largely with muscle. Now 60+, Jeff faces each day with more energy, but also feeling more relaxed.
